We celebrated Dr Suess' birthday on Monday 2nd March!

We had such a fun day today dressed up by our wonderful families as characters from Dr Suess' books!

 Look at Mrs D'Lima as The Grinch, Mrs Taylor as the fish in the bowl from The Cat in the Hat, Mrs Aalbers from The Cat in the Hat, and Ms Hogan as The Lorax.

 Can you see another Cat in the Hat? It is Mrs Nummy!

 Here is Ruby with her Mum and little brother Brax- he wanted to dress up in his own favourite outfit!

 We are having our photos taken as we arrived....

 Sophie enjoyed looking at all of the different costumes! They made her smile :)

 Can you guess who is under this hat? It is Ruby!

 Look at our Cats in the Hats! Nicola, Cooper, Tia, Ruby, and Aniq all looked great.

 Here are our Things! Jonathan is Thing 3, and Kaia is Thing 2! They look fantastic....

 Here is Alex dressed as a doctor, Jacob dressed up later as The Lorax in a yellow t-shirt and tie, and Bo was Cindy Lou-Who from Whoville! They look so neat!

 We did Jump Jam in our outfits and then our whole school had a parade where we got to walk across the stage and show who we were dressed as.

 Can you count how many apples are on Mrs Southgate's headband?

 Ms Boyd and Mrs D'Lima are looking very grinchy today!

 Kaia is trying some green eggs and ham!

 We got to try out some activities in Room 4, with them and Room 3. We got to make some Cat Hat's out of marshmallows and berry lollies with Mrs Taylor.

 We got to make a Lorax with Ms Hogan. They were very cute!

 Mrs D'Lima made some green eggs and ham for us to try if we wanted to!

 We made a graph together to show whether or not we like green eggs and ham or not.....24 of the children did like green eggs and ham!

 We had such a great day, and we love reading Dr Suess books and watching movies made of his stories....
