anzac biscuits

Today we made Anzac biscuits because we discovered that Anzac Day will happen during the holidays this year.  We learned that this recipe was able to be stored for weeks once made, and would give lots of energy to the soldiers overseas.
We all had a turn mixing the ingredients, and then we moulded and patted our own biscuit and put in on the baking tray for Mrs Taylor to bake........then she left them in too long during morning tea, and they burnt!!!
"Oh no!" said Room 5! "Whoops!" said Mrs T, but never mind- we had enough mix left to make another biccie each, and this time Mrs T did not let them over cook!! They were delicious!
