Room 5 got to look after Mr Maindonald's chickens!

We were lucky enough to have a turn at caring for some lovely little chicks that Mr Maindonald was looking after. We were able to feed them, give them water, and pat them gently...... what a neat start to the week! We thought they were cute and soft and many children wanted to have a turn at holding them. We all wrote a recount about having the chickens for the morning block!

The 100 Day Party!

 Look at what we collected for our 100 Day Party collections!

 We went to have a look at the neat collections in the other junior classrooms too......

Zephaniah collected 100 ten cent pieces to start off our World Vision collection!

Ashton and Jordan brought more coins to add to the collection! They filled up another sheet and a half!

Lots of other children brought in more and more coins!

We raised $38.60 for the World Vision children! Well done Room 5 families :) Thank you so much! This was the second highest amount raised in the Junior School!

We loved sharing a lunch together!
